The u12 squad fielded against Bryansford on Sunday morning with a depleted team but put it up to the seasiders in a very closely fought contest. Although the boys were a bit rusty, they soon got it together and connected well to create some great scoring chances which they took in style. They took to the field as professionals would in their new windcheater training tops kindly sponsored by the Ballynahinch Solicitor Paul McMullan.

Gaeltacht Summer College: The Down County board will be awarding scholarships to children attending a Gaeltacht Summer College in Donegal this summer. The scholarship will be made available to all club members who wish to apply. All applicants must be GAA members. The application forms will be made available through the Down GAA website and club secretaries from March 20th, Interview process will take place in the Castlewellan in mid May , with successful applicants being awarded their scholarships at the beginning of June.
